Virtual Tour - Ferry

We thought you'd like to hop aboard one of the WA State Ferries for a quick, online trip. Here's a few shots that will give you first-timers a feel for the ferry trip or bring back memories of your ferry ride to the San Juan Islands.

Our trip starts in Anacortes, where cars and trucks bound for the Islands load on. Check the Anacortes Ferry line.
This is the ferry Elwha, which can carry upwards of 150 cars.
Ferry riders can walk around and enjoy the view. That's Mt. Baker in the background as we leave Anacortes.
After crossing Rosario Strait, we head into Thatcher Pass between Decatur and Blakely Islands.
The inside of the Elwha offers lots of seating on two levels and also a cafeteria with food and drinks.
